Halifax also cover for loss or damage to contents in your home caused by water escaping from washing machines, dishwashers and water.

I took out this insurance back in August, the main reason being that they were the cheapest. I had to make a claim last week as a pipe burst and damaged everything in the living room. I have just got off the phone to the people at Endsleigh who have arranged for new carpets, television and stereo to be delivered by the end of the week and are also sending someone out to repair the water damage on the sofa. What more can you ask for 10/10 well done Endsleigh!!!

I found Endsleigh really good when trying to get contents insurance whilst living in a shared property. Many insurance companies were quoting me huge amounts but Endsleigh covered everything for a relatively small monthly fee and includes a good 'items away from home' cover for bike, laptop, mp3 player etc.
